I should be able to add games for Gr5 now. If you've got specific questions or sentences or something, it sure is easier when all I have to do is copy and paste.... LOL

Reading Logs

New website to help simplify reading, spelling and vocabulary tasks.
Looks like a great, fun motivational tool.
You upload your material and there's a Reading Log, Vocabulary with built-in dictionary access and a Listen and Practice Spelling System.
I'm thinking you can add science and social studies.
You register then go back and log in where you'll a PDF file with instructions and registration codes for students to access your postings.
A student can sign up without signing up for a classroom and the list of books and vocabulary cards will be saved. A student can also use the site without signing up at all, but info used at that time will not be saved, but they can print out what they make.

jeopardy Teachers- please reply if interested- also new 3rd grade game

I am in the process of making online games. Of course vocab and spelling games- I can do that. However, there is an online jeopardy template that I can create games for- however, I don't have time to read all the stories, and find out who's doing what each week. If you're interested in me making jeopardy for student review- if you can give me a guideline of what to include- what aspects of the story what kind of grammar, etc... I'll be more than glad to post them. I can have 5 categories with 5 questions. These can be done on IWB, or for a small group or just student review.

Here is an example that I did for 3rd grade Unit 1-2. There is no story content, but I'll be glad to add it.

CA Unit 1-2 Embed code for review attachment

I am adding an attachment with the embed code of the Unit 1-2 game for 1st grade.

Here are the contents on the review:
 
Unit 1-2 I Can, Too! Multiple choice game. Only 16, randomly generated questions out of 26 possible questions will be displayed at a time- each time should be like a new game. There are 17 spelling questions and 9 grammar/mechanics. Words included are spelling words, review words and story words- dad, sad, too, back, it, nap, tap, over, cat, man, sack, moves, helps, push, jump, up, not. Choose whether group of words is a sentence or not. Choose correct sentence type- question or statement.
